Your legal guarantee

For consumer purchases covered by EU rules, the seller is responsible for non-conformity and the legal guarantee lasts at least two years from delivery. Applicable national law may provide longer periods, different limitation rules or stronger remedies. Any additional manufacturer or commercial warranty is separate and cannot replace or reduce these rights.

Repair, replacement and other remedies

Where the legal guarantee applies, faulty or non-conforming goods are repaired or replaced without charge, within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience. The choice and availability of remedies depend on applicable law, including proportionality. A proportionate price reduction or termination and refund may be available where repair or replacement is impossible, refused, unsuccessful or not completed as required, or in other cases provided by law. Minor non-conformity does not always justify terminating the contract.

Necessary postage, transport, labour and materials for a legal-guarantee remedy are not charged to the consumer. We will explain the practical arrangements before you send a device. We remain your point of contact as seller; you are not required to give up seller remedies by dealing only with a manufacturer.

Making a claim

Email info@vidarpcs.com with your name, purchase reference or other proof of purchase, model and a description of the issue. Photos or video can help, but are not required where they cannot reasonably show the fault. We will assess the appropriate remedy and provide return or troubleshooting instructions. Back up data before servicing; do not include passwords or card information in your request.

What is assessed

Legal guarantees cover a product that does not conform to the agreed description, specification, quality or other applicable legal requirements. Accidental damage, misuse or wear arising after delivery are not themselves manufacturing non-conformity, but we will consider the actual cause and your applicable rights. Opening or upgrading a device does not automatically cancel statutory rights; damage caused by an intervention may be treated differently. Battery condition is assessed against the agreed condition and reasonable expectations rather than excluded as a category.

Additional commercial warranties

We do not advertise an additional blanket commercial warranty beyond the applicable legal guarantee. Any separate manufacturer coverage, extended service or business-purchase warranty must be stated in the product documentation or written quote. This page does not shorten rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Consumers outside the EU retain the mandatory protections applicable to their purchase.
