Vidar is operated by HELIX HARDWARE LIMITED, company number 81456096, at The Belgian Bank Building, No. 721 Nathan Road, Hong Kong. Contact info@vidarpcs.com. The EU consumer provisions below apply where EU consumer law governs your purchase, including where our sales are directed to EU consumers. Mandatory rights in your country are not reduced. Business purchases may have different agreed terms.

14-day right to withdraw

For eligible distance purchases covered by EU consumer law, tell us within 14 days after you or your nominated recipient receives the goods that you wish to withdraw. You do not need to give a reason. For an order delivered in separate lots, the applicable period generally runs from receipt of the last item or lot. You may also tell us before delivery.

Send an unambiguous withdrawal notice to info@vidarpcs.com or by post to our business address. Include your name, order reference, the goods concerned and the date of receipt. A reference helps us locate the purchase but is not a condition of exercising your rights. Your notice is timely if sent before the deadline. Asking for return instructions does not replace your notice and does not extend the statutory period.

Returning the goods

Send the goods back without undue delay and within 14 days of your withdrawal notice unless we have offered collection. Contact us promptly for the correct return destination and safe shipping instructions, particularly for devices containing lithium batteries. We will identify the return address for your purchase; do not assume the business address is a collection depot.

For a change-of-mind return, you bear the direct return shipping cost only where this was disclosed before the purchase and we have not agreed to pay it. Any applicable non-postal return cost estimate must be disclosed before purchase. We cover necessary return costs for goods that are faulty, incorrect or otherwise not in conformity where required by law. Return packaging should protect the goods; original packaging is helpful but is not a condition of statutory rights.

Refunds

For an eligible withdrawal, we reimburse the purchase price and the least expensive standard outbound delivery option offered, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after being informed. Additional charges for an optional premium delivery service need not be reimbursed. We may withhold the refund until the goods are received back or you provide evidence of return, whichever occurs first, unless we have offered collection.

Refunds use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise and incur no refund fee. You may be responsible for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. There is no automatic restocking fee for exercising a statutory withdrawal right.

Configured and personalised goods

A legal withdrawal exception may apply to goods genuinely made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised. Selecting standard catalogue memory, storage or other preset options does not automatically make a computer non-returnable. If an exception applies to your particular purchase, it will be explained before you commit. This exception does not remove rights relating to faulty or non-conforming goods. Separate statutory exceptions may apply to unsealed software or digital content where all legal conditions are met.

Faulty or incorrect goods

Tell us about the fault or mismatch using info@vidarpcs.com and include a description, purchase reference and photos if useful. Prompt reporting helps us investigate; a short reporting window is not imposed as a substitute for your statutory rights. See our warranty information for repair, replacement and other remedies. Back up personal data before a repair or return and remove accounts and device locks where it is safe to do so.
