Personal and home laptops
Ten laptops for households, home offices and shared desks, from an 8-inch mini machine to a 15.6-inch dual-screen.
Read the full introduction
This is the broadest collection in the range because home use is broad: a shared kitchen-table laptop, a teenager's coursework machine, a home-office desktop replacement, a small machine for the sofa, and a dual-screen model for someone who works from home properly.
The common thread is price discipline. These models cover documents, browsing, video calls and streaming, and they are configured at order so a household can buy memory and storage sized to how it actually uses the machine rather than paying for headroom it will not need.

What separates these machines
- If one machine is shared, prioritise fingerprint or account separation and a screen two people can read — a 15.6-inch panel beats an 11-inch one.
- For a single user who travels, the 11-inch and 8-inch models trade screen size for portability.
- For coursework, check the software first: browser and documents need little; CAD or media editing needs the Perform 15 or a Vortex.
- Storage is the cheapest upgrade to buy at order and the most annoying to add later; pick 1 TB if photos, video or games are involved.
- Windows 11 Pro appears on most models here; the Flip 14 and the N4000 Study 14 have less certain OS statements and are confirmed at quote.
Questions about personal & home laptops
Which home laptop is the best value?
The Slim 14 and Study 14 sit at the lowest price bands. The Flex 14 costs more but adds touch and a newer Intel N95 processor. 'Best value' depends on whether price, screen size or touch matters most — the specification tables on each product page make that comparison direct.
Are these suitable for children's schoolwork?
The 14-inch and 15.6-inch models cover documents, browser research and video lessons. No parental-control software, warranty or accidental-damage cover is included or claimed; those are separate decisions.
Can a home laptop run two screens?
The dual-screen models do this without an external monitor. On the single-screen models, port availability is unpublished, so confirm the video output on the quotation before planning a second display.
Why do some home laptops cost more than business ones?
Cost tracks panels and hinges, not category labels. A folding 11-inch dual-screen machine carries two panels and a complex hinge, while a slim 14-inch counter laptop carries one panel and a fixed hinge.
